Add online booking to your current website

Already have a website on Wix, WordPress or elsewhere? Keep it. Paste one line of code and your guests can book a table directly on your site, with the same tables, confirmations and reminders as on Resto1Click.

Before you start

  • A Resto1Click account on the Pro+ plan.
  • Online booking turned on: dashboard → Reservations → Settings, and your floor plan saved.
  • Your codes are in the same place: Reservations → Settings → “Add booking to another website”. They already contain your restaurant’s name: copy them from there rather than from this page.

1. Choose how guests book

Floating “Book” button

A button in the corner of every page that opens booking in a window. The simplest choice: paste once, it shows everywhere.

<script src="https://resto1click.com/widget.js" data-restaurant="your-restaurant" async></script>

Booking form in a page

The form right inside a page of your site, for example “Book” or “Contact”. Its height adjusts automatically.

<script src="https://resto1click.com/widget.js" data-restaurant="your-restaurant" data-mode="inline" async></script>

Plain link

For a button on your site, your Instagram bio, your Google Business Profile or a QR code. No code at all.

https://your-restaurant.resto1.click/reserver

If your website builder does not accept scripts

Use this version of the form instead (the dashboard gives it with your restaurant already filled in):

<iframe src="https://your-restaurant.resto1.click/reserver?embed=1&lang=en" title="Book a table" style="width:100%;height:760px;border:0"></iframe>

2. Paste the code on your site

Menus can be named slightly differently depending on the version of your website builder. Paste the button code once for the whole site (it is usually called “custom code”, “footer code” or “code injection”), or the form code in the page of your choice. Then publish your site. Instructions checked against each builder’s help pages in October 2026.

Wix
Floating button on every page
In the site dashboard: Settings → Custom code (under “Development & integrations”, or “Advanced” on older versions) → + Add custom code, paste the button code, choose All pages and Body – end, then Apply. Your site must be published with a connected domain (Premium plan).
Form in a page
In the editor: Add (+) → Embed code → Embed HTML, choose “Code”, paste the iframe version, then stretch the element to full width and about 800 px high.

Wix’s “Embed HTML” element is a closed box: a floating button pasted there would stay stuck in it. Use “Custom code” for the button.

WordPress
Floating button on every page
With a plugin that adds code to every page (for example WPCode: Code Snippets → Header & Footer → Footer), paste the button code.
Form in a page
In a page or post: add a Custom HTML block and paste the form code.

On WordPress.com, scripts require a plan that allows plugins. Otherwise use the plain link.

Squarespace
Floating button on every page
Code Injection → Footer, paste the button code. Its location changed in 2025 (Website → Pages → Custom code on recent versions, Settings → Advanced on older ones): the quickest is to type “Code Injection” in the search bar of your settings.
Form in a page
In a page: add a Code block, paste the form code.

Code injection requires a Core, Plus or Advanced plan (not Basic). On plans without it, use the plain link.

Webflow
Floating button on every page
Site settings → Custom code → Footer code, paste the button code, then publish.
Form in a page
Add a Code Embed element where you want the form, paste the form code.

Both the Code Embed element and site-wide custom code require a paid Webflow Site plan or Workspace. On the free plan, use the plain link.

Shopify
Floating button on every page
Themes → … → Edit code → theme.liquid, paste the button code just before </body>.
Form in a page
Online Store → Themes → Customize → add a Custom Liquid section, paste the form code.

The Custom Liquid section exists on Shopify’s own themes but not on every third-party theme. Duplicate your theme before editing theme.liquid: a typo there can break the whole store.

Jimdo
Floating button on every page
Jimdo Creator: put the button code in a Widget/HTML element on your home page, or add a button pointing to the plain link.
Form in a page
Jimdo Creator: Add element → More elements & add-ons → Widget / HTML, paste the form code and save.

Jimdo Dolphin does not accept code at all, and free Jimdo plans may block HTML: add a button that points to your plain booking link.

Google Sites
Floating button on every page
Not possible on Google Sites: add a button (Insert → Button) pointing to your plain booking link.
Form in a page
Insert → Embed → Embed code tab, paste the iframe version, then Next and Insert.
Website made by a developer
Floating button on every page
Paste the button code once, just before </body> of your page template.
Form in a page
Paste the form code where the form should appear.

Use your own “Book” buttons

Already have a “Book” button in your menu or on your home page? Add data-r1c-open to it and it opens the booking window (the floating button code must be on the page):

<a href="#" data-r1c-open>Book a table</a>

Set data-color="#b5562d" on the button code to match your colours, data-label="Book" to change its text, data-position="left" to move it.

Language

The booking form follows the language of your page (French or English). To force it, add data-lang="en" or data-lang="fr" to the code. Confirmation emails are sent in your restaurant’s language.

Your Resto1Click page

If you keep your own website, turn on “I already have my own website” in My site: your Resto1Click page then sends visitors to your site, while booking, your guests’ booking management and your QR menu keep working.

Something does not work?

Nothing appears on my site

Check that the whole code was pasted, that your site was published, and that online booking is turned on in Resto1Click (Reservations → Settings). If your builder puts code in a closed box (Wix “Embed HTML”, Google Sites), use the iframe version.

The form says “Online booking unavailable”

Booking is off, or your plan does not include it (Pro+). Turn it on in Reservations → Settings.

The button is hidden behind something

Move it to the other side with data-position="left", or use the form in a page instead.

I changed a setting and nothing moved

Visitors’ browsers keep the widget for up to 5 minutes. Reload the page a little later.

Where do bookings arrive?

In your Resto1Click dashboard (Reservations), exactly like bookings made on your Resto1Click page, with the same email alerts.
